Sally is responsible for representation and leadership of Viamo in West & Central Africa, including current operations (Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso, DRC, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Haiti) and programme expansion. In this capacity she oversees Country Managers who in turn manage relationships with mobile network operators, co-design and implement projects with partners, and grow the use of mobile engagement for improving lives.

Before joining Viamo, Sally worked with Marie Stopes International for 12 years, successfully establishing country programmes from scratch, including the surplus-producing Mexico City program as well as MSI Burkina Faso, delivering impact on national health indicators within start up phase. She also managed MSI’s well-established program in Malawi, with 500 team members serving 1 million clients annually. She progressed to the position of Deputy Regional Director, providing strategic support to MSI programmes across four countries (India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam) protecting 8m couples from unwanted pregnancy annually.

Sally holds a BA in European Studies & Modern Languages from University of Manchester.
